The new Kia Sportage Crossover class with real style and quality added to the Kia’s usual value. The new Sportage looks fresh, modern and exudes a solidity that’s much more premium than its predecessor.
On this First Edition model it looks even more so, with part black 18-inch alloy wheels, tinted rear windows and LED daytime running lights the Sportage stands out from its crossover rivals.
New Kia Sportage will be available in a stunning new metallic colour – Techno Orange – and first impressions will also be enhanced by the new bright chrome finish for the front grille- the strong Kia ‘face’ – as well as the bold reverse-angle C-pillar, the wider track, purposeful stance and much closer relationship between the wheels, tyres and wheel-arch.
Available a black interior, trimmed in cloth, part-leather or full-leather that can be personalised with dark, light or orange accents. The quality of the cabin has been greatly improved. Available high-tech features will include: Xenon HID headlamps, LED running lights, keyless entry, engine start button, reversing safety camera, built-in sat-nav and full-length panoramic glass sunroof.
The new Sportage models is on sale later this year, it will be available with the 134bhp 2.0-litre turbodiesel is mated to a six-speed manual and electronically controlled four-wheel drive. Most UK sales will be of smaller 1.6-litre petrol and 1.7-litre turbodiesel models with front-wheel drive; though Kia’s usual value-laden package should mean all come with specifications better than key rivals. Factor in the standard seven-year warranty and it’s a canny buy.
